MarkLimburg

Mark Limburg received his Bachelor of Arts degreefrom Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN, (1989). His teachers included Stephen Gabrielsen and Nicholas Raths. Mark toured with the Augsburg concert choir, and served as the pianist/guitarist for the weekly Eucharist service. He took his music studies further at the University of Minnesota, studying with James Hepokoski. Mark’s arrangements have appeared in a number of collections, and he has been named one of “today’s top arrangers” and “today’s top writers”, in the same sentences with Dove award winning composers Don Wyrtzen and Kurt Kaiser. 

Currently studying with Yakov Gelfand (formerly of the Leningrad Conservatory) at the MacPhail School of Music in Minneapolis, Mark serves as the pianist/ guitarist for his church in St. Paul, and sings bass in the choir there. He runs a professional recording studio, and teaches private piano and guitar lessons.
