CarmenScialla Carmen Scialla is a Plainfield, NJ, native with early musical training in piano, organ, and music theory. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate, Dr. Scialla received his B.M from the State University of New York at Fredonia, his M.M from The Eastman School of Music, and his doctorate from Louisiana State University.
He has enjoyed a multi-faceted musical career which has included frequent piano performances in major concert halls throughout Europe, China and the United States. A widely published, Dr. Scialla has served as professor and choral director at Kean University (NJ), California University of Pennsylvania, and Arkansas State University. Currently, Dr. Scialla is Professor of Music at Monmouth University.
