MarkBender

Mark Bender, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, earned a BA in Elementary Education—Director of Parish Music(1974) and the Master of Church Music Degree (1976) from Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois. He has served as Minister of Music and teacher at Trinity Lutheran Church and School, Indianapolis, IN, and St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, Des Peres, MO. A published composer of choral and organ music, Mark has been chairman of the Commission on Worship of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and a member of the Liturgy Committee of the Lutheran Hymnal Project.

Mark and his wife, Ann (a piano teacher), are the parents of three daughters.
