WilliamBraun

William Braun earned DA in Music History/Literature from Ball State University in 1984, an MA from Long Island University in 1974, and a BS in Music Education from Concordia College, Seward, NE, in 1970. He has taught and directed music at every level from 4th grade through college in New York, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas.

Presently he is a Professor of Music and the Chair of the Music Department at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI. He also serves as choir director and organist at St. John's Lutheran in Wauwatosa, WI. He is a published composer and author of a number of scholarly articles for various music journals. He is currently writing a book that will trace the historical development of musical settings of our Lord's Passion to the present day.
