Brian Henkelmann (b. 1956) earned his Master of Church Music degree from Concordia University (River Forest) where he studied composition with Richard Hillert.  He holds a Master of Theological Studies from Moravian Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts (Music) from  Moravian College.  He has served churches in a variety of denominations as both organist and choir director.  He is currently Director of Music/Organist at First United Methodist Church in Stephenville, Texas where he is in team music ministry with his wife Marika Kyriakos.  His published works include choral anthems, instrumental pieces, hymn texts, tunes and settings.
