Page C.Long Page C. Long holds two degrees in composition and piano: a Mus. B. from Oberlin College and an MA from the University of Iowa. In 1962 he earned the FAGO certificate and the following year he received the DMA degree in organ performance from the University of Arizona. In addition to teaching privately and in several colleges, he was Minister of Music at the First Congregational Church in Saginaw, MI, for over 30 years. A published composer of works for organ, choirs, recorder consorts, and handbell choirs, he has also built five harpsichords from Zuckermann kits, the fifth being a French-style double-manual instrument. Now retired, he lives with his wife Carole in Sun City, AZ, where he continues his composing and studies in music history and score reading.
