DonPetering

Don  Petering is 1960 graduate of Concordia University Chicago (B.S. Ed.), from where he also received his 1980 Masters in Church Music . He has served as teacher and music director at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Des Peres, MO, 1960–1989; accompanist and later director of Lutheran Hour Choir 1961–75; music editor, and music engraver at Concordia Publishing House.

Currently Don is director of the men’s choir and member of the adult and handbell choirs at his church. While being a composer and arranger, he resides in Kirkwood, MO, with wife Carol, who is Director of Handbell Choirs at St. Paul’s. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
