Bret A. Heim

Bret A. Heim is a professor and librarian at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. He is also an accomplished classical guitarist and has published award-winning choral pieces with a number of publishers.

Heim is the choral music reviewer and review editor for CrossAccent, the journal of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.

He holds graduate degrees in both classical guitar and library information science. He has taught on the music faculties of Illinois State University and Bradley University.

Heim and his wife, Annette, a flautist, regularly perform together as “Heim Duo,” and have released several recordings together.
