Dr. David A. deSilva is a trustees’ distinguished professor of New Testament and Greek at the Ashland Theological Seminary. He has published over twenty-five books, has been involved with several major Bible translation projects, and has created video resources on various biblical topics.
In addition to his scholarship, Dr. deSilva is an accomplished organist and currently serves as director of music and organist at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, Florida. He has published numerous arrangements and compositions for organ, choir, and handbells.
He and his wife have three children together.
