Bernard Wayne Sanders currently serves as a full-time director of music at the parishes of St. Gallus and Mary Queen of Heaven in Tuttlingen, Germany, in addition to serving as a diocesan liaison and an official organ consultant for the Tuttlingen area.

He has published many works through both American and German publishing houses, including the award-winning piece “Ornament of Grace,” which was sponsored by the American Guild of Organists as part of a performance by organists worldwide in 2008.

Sanders received his BM from St. Norbert College, earned his MM in composition and organ from Wichita State University, and completed postgraduate work in Germany. In Germany, Sanders received an additional degree in organ performance from the Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg. He has also completed examinations for church music in Hamburg and Cologne.
