Known by his compositions for voice, organ, and instruments, Dr. Scott M. Hyslop is both an accomplished organist and an avid composer.

He began his studies in music at the University of Wisconsin—River Falls and went on to pursue his master of church music degree at Concordia University Chicago. Over the course of his studies, Dr. Hyslop learned organ from Marilyn Mason, John Eggert, Steven Wente, Maurice Clerc, and Paul Manz.

He acquired his DMA in organ and church music from the University of Michigan and now works as the director of parish music at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
